Contact Hunters Guide

Email hello@huntersguide.ca. One address, read by a person, and the fastest way to reach us about anything on this site.

What is worth emailing about?

Corrections are the most useful message we get. This site publishes regulatory facts that change on schedules we do not control, so an error here has a real cost to someone studying for an exam.

We are a study site, not a licensing authority. We cannot look up, alter, or advise on your own licence application. For that, contact your provincial wildlife agency or the RCMP Canadian Firearms Program.

How quickly will you hear back?

Corrections are prioritised over everything else. We read every message, though we do not promise a reply to every one, and we do not publish or share your email address.

Frequently asked questions

How do I report an error in a practice question?

Email us the question ID, which appears in the page address when you link to a question, along with the province and what you believe is wrong. Corrections are the fastest email we answer, because an inaccurate question is worse than no question.

A fee or regulation on your site is out of date. Will you fix it?

Yes, and we would rather hear about it than not. Fees and regulations change on provincial and federal schedules, and a page that was correct in September can be wrong by spring. Tell us the page and what changed.

Can I use your questions on my own site or course?

Ask first. Our questions are original work written from published curriculum, and they are not public domain. Tell us what you want to use and why, and we will give you a straight answer.

Do you answer questions about my own licence application?

No. We are a study site, not a licensing authority, and we cannot see or affect your application. For anything about your own file, contact the body that issues the licence: your provincial wildlife agency, or the RCMP Canadian Firearms Program for a PAL.
